The game continues the classic game play of the Contra series by having bullets blazing everywhere with enemies coming at you at every turn. The Game comes in three different levels of difficulty; Easy, Normal, and Hard.

Unfortunately, the last two levels are not available on Easy. Contra 4 also features a challenge mode that the player can unlock, that features multiple different mini-games that gives the player a plethora of challenges. The game also features bonus content because it celebrates the 20th anniversary of Contra. The player can check out different screen shots and box art in the Contra Museum. The museum contains all the previous Contra games in the series up until this point.

It's every bit as challenging and fun to play as its forebearers, returning the franchise to its core roots while optimizing all the actio This game is really well put together.

I really like it when franchises get rebooted, or come back to life. Like the previous Contras that follow the storyline, Contra 4, in my opinion, is the best.
