I have tried the "Recover the original gadgets installed with Windows Couldn't find the downloads anywhere from the maze that is Microsoft's website and I really wouldn't want to reinstall my Win7 just for this. Thank you. Unfortunately, Skype 8 does not support the "compact view" mode. I recommend you to send feedback to developers and ask them to implement this feature in the new Skype. I downloaded Skype from this website but since my computer is so outdated it will open the program, and then it will load with a spinning circle around my cursor and then the program crashes.
